Please join me in supporting the Society for disABILITIES. The Society is a totally locally funded organization that receives no government funding. For over the past 70 years, the Society for disABILITIES has enhanced the quality of life for people with disabilities within the Central Valley. The Society provides recreational programs including: adapted snow ski, water ski, bike camp, a Day on the Farm, bowling, soccer, and a prom. We also operate the largest medical equipment loan closet within Northern California, loaning out walkers, wheelchairs, bedside commodes and hospital beds for those in need. They are a community resource and referral agency and operate a thrift store, providing job training skills. The Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt, charitable organization.
